Relationships and Sexuality

For many of us, relationships and intimacy are significant aspects of our lives that provide meaning and depth to our existence. But these aspects can also bring on strife, difficulty and struggle. I work with individuals, couples and people in various relationship formations to provide tools to increase success and connection in relationships. These relationships can be intimate partnerships, biological familial relationships, chosen familial relationships, or even friendships, co-workers, and other platonic or non-romantic relationships. Sometimes, relationship struggles can feel hopeless but therapy can offer hope and way out of distress, apathy or feelings of being stuck. I strive to help people move through emotional and behavioral patterns, sexual problems, difficult transitions and towards a more fulfilling intimacy.

My work utilizes the Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) model and Imago Relationship Therapy techniques as well as Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory and the interpersonal relational work of Irvin Yalom.
